VDA installed the Micromaster GRMS for access lighting and temperature control together withthe Vitrum range of smart switches.

The one touch devices by VDA, control in-room lighting, climate, and entertainment, with a direct connection to housekeeping, 24-hour concierge, and in-room dining.

Another feature of the in-room technology which VDA has brought to The Address Connolly, is the suitable lighting from bed to bathroom. PIR sensors switch on a low wattage light under the bed automatically, lighting the way to the bathroom. This enhances comfort and convenience for the guests, them not having to switch on a bright light during the night in order to locate bathroom, thus also not disturbing their partner.

In order to meet the unique requirements of this Hotel, VDA created a customised key-card which allows the guests of The Address Connolly to access the lift, the doors to the corridors of their rooms, as well as access to their own particular room.

In addition to the room controls, VDA installed their PowerTV ONAIR Interactive Television System in Smart TV’s. The TV remote also controls the lighting, room temperature, and curtains, and can be used to order in-room services as well as look up local attractions by way of an app installed on the TV. The guest’s mobile and tablet devices can also be used to access this app and avail the simple to use in-room controls.
